Getting here and around

Oslo is compact, well connected and straightforward to navigate. Plan the airport transfer before you travel, then use one ticket system for most public transport in and around the city.
Plan with Ruter

About 20 minutes by train

Airport to city
Oslo Airport Gardermoen is around 50 kilometres north of the centre. Flytoget and Vy trains connect the airport with Oslo Central Station. Check current departures and fares before travelling.

One network across the city

Public transport
Ruter tickets cover buses, trams, metro, local trains and most ferries within the zones you select. The Ruter app is the simplest place to plan a journey, buy a ticket and check live service information.

Make time for Oslo

Norway's capital brings contemporary architecture, major museums, neighbourhood food and easy access to the fjord and forest. Use the official city guides to shape free time around the congress, and consider the Oslo Pass if museums and public transport are part of your plans.
