Horses, health and quality of life

Hest og Helse is Norway’s national membership organisation promoting the contribution of horses to health, wellbeing and quality of life.

The organisation connects equestrian practice with human health and supports professionals and providers who work with horses in therapeutic, educational and developmental settings.

Its work strengthens knowledge, quality and professional competence in horse-assisted activities and therapies through courses, training programmes, professional networks, standards and qualifications for member organisations.
