Alexandra serves as a vice president of HETI, holds the chair of the Research Committee, and is the Chief Editor of the HETI Scientific Journal. She has taken part in numerous scientific conferences and served as a member of organising and scientific boards. She has also delivered many oral and poster presentations at congresses and published numerous articles in international scientific journals.
Originally from Ioannina, Greece, Alexandra holds a PhD from the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Ioannina Medical School. She currently lectures in Special Education at the University of Ioannina. Her research interests include the rehabilitation of children with neurological disorders. She has also run the Ioannina Therapeutic Riding Centre for the last 15 years.
